Your licence covers every update within the major version you buy, and that version keeps working forever. Upgrading to the next major version is optional, and we haven’t set the upgrade price yet.
- What does the licence key do?
It unlocks downloads and updates. There’s no licence server, and the editor doesn’t phone home.
- Can I self-host it?
Yes. The editor is a package you bundle into your own app and serve from your own servers. Real-time collaboration runs on a Node server that you host too.
- Can I use it in a SaaS product?
Yes. The licence covers unlimited domains, so a SaaS product is covered, however many customer sites it runs on.
- How many developers does it cover?
All of them. There’s no per-developer pricing.
- Are editor loads counted?
No. Put as many editors on a page as you need, on as many pages as you need.
- Which features need a higher plan?
None. There’s one licence, and it includes everything on this site: collaboration, documents, quality tools, AI and every skin.
- Where are the full terms?

- How do I pay?
